Whitewood and Fleming is an Arts Award Centre and we have three Arts Award Advisors in our team. The Arts Award is a great way for young people to focus on their personal arts journey and to gain accreditation alongside taking part in projects.

A Bronze Arts Award is equivalent to GCSE D-G grade, Silver is equivalent to to A*-C grade and a Gold is equivalent to an A Level. We are able to deliver Arts Award at Bronze, Silver and Gold level. From July we’ll be delivering the new Discover and Explore packages for 7-11yr olds. So far we in Cumbria we’ve helped 14 young looked after people achieve their Bronze Arts Award and 1 achieved Silver Arts Award. We are very proud of the achievements of the young people we’ve worked with. We build Arts Award into projects whenever possible. For more details on Arts Award please go to: www.artsaward.org.uk
